Oru Kal Oru Kannadi

Donning the greasepaint Udayanidhi Stalin has managed to impress the audience with his acting skills though much needs to be honed. Rajesh-Santhanam combination as usual rocks and all the credit goes to the combo that has already given a couple of blockbusters before. Storywise there is nothing to talk about.

Saravanan (Udayanidhi) who works for a multiplex falls for Meera (Hansika) who is an aspiring airhostess and daughter of deputy commissioner of police (Sayaji Shinde). While Meera shows no interest in Saravanan. One fine day Saravanan receives Meera’s wedding invite and he along with his friend Parthasarathy (Santhanam) leave to Pondicherry to convince Meera of Saravanan’s love. Will the duo be successful in their initiative is the rest of the story told in a humourous manner.

Santhanam as usual is at the helm of affairs and is the sole entertainer. Saranya as Udayanidhi’s mother is another show stopper. Special appearances by Arya, Sneha, Andrea is fun to watch.

Harris Jayaraj’s music is passable and reminds of his earlier numbers. Balasubramaniam with the camera is great. Director Rajesh has again aimed at giving a clean family entertainer and has almost succeeded in his attempt. The movie is sure to be a cool summer treat if logics are forgotten!!
